Overview:

We are looking for a qualified doctor to provide comprehensive primary care services to patients in an outpatient setting. This role involves diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, managing chronic diseases, and promoting overall health and wellness. The General Practitioner will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Assessment and Diagnosis: Provide routine examinations, screening tests, health risk assessments, mental health checks, chronic illness care, appropriate treatments, reference to specialists, and provide follow-up care.
  • Treatment and Management: Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across all age groups. Monitor and manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma. Prescribe medications and therapies as needed and provide preventive care and health education to patients. Attend emergencies and provide immediate medical attention. Administering medication topically, orally, and via intravenous or intramuscular injections. Collecting fluid and tissue samples and sending these to laboratories for further testing.
  • Patient Care and Counseling: Address patients' health-related queries and provide health counselling to patients. Offer advice on lifestyle changes, diet, and preventive measures to promote health and wellness.
  • Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes in the electronic medical records systems Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for documentation and patient confidentiality.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Professional liaison with other health professionals is maintained and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive complete care. Provide guidance and supervision to paramedical staff.
  • Quality Improvement and Professional Development: Stay current with medical knowledge and advancements in the field. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and follow evidence-based practices. Actively collaborate with the organization to implement health and wellness programs.

Requirements

  • M.B.B.S with minimum 1 year experience
  • PG Diploma in Diabetes Mellitus/Family medicine(Preferred).
  • Valid registration with appropriate medical board
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in outpatient care.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, patience and empathy
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 18 per week
