Job Summary:

The General Physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients by diagnosing, treating, and managing various acute and chronic illnesses. The role involves clinical evaluation, prescribing appropriate treatment, coordinating with specialists, and ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough medical examinations and record patient histories.
• Diagnose and manage common medical conditions, both acute and chronic.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood investigations, X-rays, ECG, etc.
• Prescribe medications and other therapeutic interventions as per diagnosis.
• Monitor and follow up on patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide preventive healthcare advice and health education to patients.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists when advanced care is required.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records and documentation.
• Participate in ward rounds (if working in an inpatient setting).
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
• Support health screening and wellness programs conducted by the hospital.
• Attend case discussions, CME programs, and departmental meetings as required.

Qualifications:

• MBBS from a recognized university.
• DNB (General Medicine) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
• Valid medical registration with the Medical Council (state or national).

Experience:

• 0–5 years of post-DNB experience (for junior positions).
• 5+ years of experience for senior roles in clinical medicine or hospital practice.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹200,000.73 - ₹233,382.59 per month

Work Location: In person
