Role Overview:

GNM Staff Nurse

Core Responsibilities:

Patient Care:
Provide bedside care, monitor patient conditions, and assist with daily activities.
Medication & Treatment:
Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, and maintain treatment records.
Clinical Assistance:
Support doctors during rounds, procedures, and emergency interventions.
Monitoring:
Track vital signs, patient progress, and report abnormalities promptly.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate nursing notes, patient records, and reports.
Infection Control:
Adhere to hygiene standards and hospital infection control protocols.
Patient Education:
Guide patients and families regarding care, recovery, and health practices.

Industry-Specific Duties:

Assist in ICU, OT, and ward procedures as per hospital needs.
Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients.
Ensure timely shift handovers with proper documentation.
Support emergency care during critical situations.
Maintain stock of medicines, consumables, and equipment in the assigned ward/department.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and nursing standards.
Participate in training sessions, workshops, and continuous skill development.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) certification
from a recognized institution.
Minimum
3 years of nursing experience
in a hospital/healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of
nursing practices, patient care, and medical protocols
.
Excellent
communication, empathy, and teamwork skills
.
Ability to work in
rotational shifts
and handle high-pressure situations.
