Job Description

The Lead International Business will be responsible for driving growth and expansion of the company's FMCG food portfolio across global markets. This includes developing international strategies, managing distribution, ensuring compliance, and owning the P&L. A critical part of the role is preparing high-quality reports and insights on international business performance for leadership and stakeholders. Business Strategy & Expansion Develop and execute international business strategy for the FMCG food portfolio. Identify and evaluate new markets, channels, and opportunities for entry and growth. Define and implement go-to-market strategies including pricing, positioning, and channel management. Sales & Distribution Management Build, manage, and grow international distributor and partner networks. Drive revenue and profitability across geographies with a strong focus on brand presence. Ensure effective trade marketing, promotions, and activation in global markets. Regulatory & Market Compliance Ensure adherence to international food safety, packaging, and labeling regulations. Manage export documentation, logistics, and compliance processes. Liaise with regulatory authorities and legal teams to ensure smooth market entry. Reporting & Analytics Prepare periodic business performance reports (sales, revenue, market share, margins) for leadership and Board. Develop dashboards and MIS to track KPIs across geographies. Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and consumer insights to support strategic decision-making. P&L Responsibility Own P&L for the international business vertical. Drive profitability through efficient cost management and revenue growth initiatives. Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial metrics across markets. Leadership & Team Management Build and lead an international business development team. Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and agility. Mentor team members for future leadership roles. Qualifications & Experience: MBA / Postgraduate in Business / International Marketing from a reputed institute. 12+ years of experience in FMCG (preferably food industry) with proven international exposure. Deep knowledge of international distribution models, export processes, and trade compliance. Experience in handling P&L and business reporting for international operations.,
