General Manager - Design & Engineering

As a GM in EPC Project Management at Waaree RTL, located in Mumbai (Borivali), your primary role will be to set target-oriented tasks for your team aligned with project deadlines to ensure timely completion of work. You will need to assess the team's capabilities to allocate tasks efficiently and ensure clear communication regarding task requirements and timelines. Your responsibilities will include intervening and assisting team members throughout the day to monitor progress, maintain quality, and adhere to standard operating procedures. It will be crucial for you to provide consistent commitment to both internal and external stakeholders and effectively manage resources during challenging situations through contingency planning. You will be expected to closely monitor and control the time required for task completion, ensuring accuracy and quality in drawings, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and Technical Specifications as per engineering best practices and industry standards. Familiarity with the latest design codes, specifications, and engineering standards related to civil and electrical works will be essential. Additionally, your role will involve tasks such as estimation, sales support, tender works for new solar projects, client interaction, technical proposal facilitation, and vendor communication for civil construction and electrical equipment requirements. You will also be responsible for reviewing technical offers, certifying discussions with vendors, releasing approved drawings, and resolving interface issues with various project teams. Your expertise should encompass a thorough understanding of test procedures, industry regulations, detailed engineering of civil and electrical components, validation of new products, and continuous improvement of system performance within solar projects. Proficiency in software tools like PV Syst, Google SketchUp, and AutoCAD for electrical system design, fault analysis, and generation data analysis will be beneficial. To qualify for this position, you should hold a BE/BTech degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience in the EPC sector. Your skills in project management, design engineering, and project planning will be integral to successfully fulfilling the responsibilities of this role.,
