General and Laparoscopic Surgeon

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general surgical and laparoscopic procedures, including but not limited to appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, and GI surgeries
• Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including anesthesiologists, radiologists, nurses, and other specialists
• Participate in surgical ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and emergency surgical cases
• Ensure meticulous documentation of medical records and adherence to clinical protocols
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits within the department
• Engage in continuing medical education and stay updated with advancements in surgical techniques and technologies

Qualifications

• MBBS from a recognized medical institution
• MS / DNB in General Surgery
• Fellowship in Minimal Access or Laparoscopic Surgery (desirable)
• Valid registration with the Medical Council of India or relevant State Medical Council
