Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable AI systems using LLMs and RAG pipelines.
• Integrate structured/unstructured data from documents, code, and databases.
• Develop smart prompt strategies for tasks like summarization and classification.
• Implement performance optimizations such as chunking, caching, and filtering.
• Select, integrate, and fine-tune LLMs (e.g., GPT-4o, LLaMA, Claude).
• Build semantic search using embeddings and vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Qdrant).
• Mentor junior developers and share best practices in AI system development.
• Collaborate with product teams to align technical work with business goals.

Required Skills

• Strong Python skills with experience in production-grade systems.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines, and vector databases.
• Familiar with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with tools like SentenceTransformers, BGE, Hugging Face, etc.
• Good understanding of prompting techniques and LLM performance tuning.
• Familiar with FastAPI or similar backend frameworks.
• Knowledge of Git, testing, and clean coding practices.
• Experience with GPU/CUDA, CLI tools, or lightweight frontends is a plus.
• Proven ability to operate independently on complex, ambiguous problems.
• Collaborative and mentoring mindset; able to guide junior team members.
• Strong communication and alignment with product goals, delivery timelines, and user-centric design.
• Proactive contributor in discussions on system design, data architecture, and technical direction.
