Role & responsibilities Identify and acquire new international clients (B2B & B2C) in the gems and jewelry sector. Develop region-specific sales strategies and execute them to drive revenue. Manage end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, proposal, negotiation, and closure Represent Gemswire at global online platforms. Coordinate with design, production, and export teams for seamless client servicing Track sales metrics, prepare reports, and contribute to business growth planning Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to support strategic decisions Maintain a strong pipeline and relationships with international buyers and distributors Preferred candidate profile 3-6 years of experience in sales or business development , preferably in the gems, jewelry, or luxury goods sector Proven track record of handling international clients , including lead generation and closing high value deals Understanding of product knowledge : gemstones, certifications, pricing, and quality standards is great advantage. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Comfortable working with CRM tools, digital communication platforms , and MS Office Highly organized, target-driven , and capable of managing multiple accounts Exposure to export processes , trade documentation, and global logistics is an advantage Fluency in English required; additional language skills are a plus Able to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced, growth-driven startup environment
