GEM Portal Presales Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive GEM Portal Presales Executive to manage end-to-end tender activities on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). The candidate will be responsible for identifying suitable IT-related bids, preparing technical and commercial documentation, ensuring full compliance, and actively participating in the entire bidding process.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Search, identify, and shortlist relevant IT-related tenders and bids on the GeM Portal.

* Evaluate tender eligibility criteria, scope of work, and documentation requirements.

* Prepare complete bid documentation, including technical specifications, compliance sheets, company credentials, certificates, financial quotes, and supporting documents.

* Participate in the full bidding process on the GeM portal, including bid submission, revisions, and technical/commercial clarifications.

* Coordinate with internal teams to obtain accurate technical inputs and pricing.

* Monitor tender updates, corrigenda, and post-bid communication.

* Maintain records of all bids, submissions, results, and follow-ups.

* Ensure all bids are submitted within deadlines and meet GeM guidelines.

* Support presales activities such as preparing proposals, presentations, and product documentation.

* Maintain good understanding of IT hardware, software, and service-related product categories.

*Required Skills & Qualifications:*

* Mandatory experience working on the GeM Portal (bidding + documentation).

* Strong knowledge of government tendering processes and procurement norms.

* Familiarity with IT products and related technical terminology.

* Excellent documentation, analytical, and communication skills.

* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PDF tools).

* Ability to handle multiple bids under tight deadlines with high accuracy.

*Preferred Qualifications:*

* 1–3 years of experience in GeM bidding or presales.

* Prior experience in IT industry sales/presales is an added advantage.
