Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. GeM Portal Management

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the GeM portal.
  • Upload and update product and service listings as per GeM guidelines.
  • Maintain pricing, catalog information, product certifications, and related documentation.

2. Tender Identification & Participation

  • Monitor various government portals and publications for relevant tenders.
  • Analyze and evaluate tender documents to assess eligibility, technical feasibility, and financial viability.
  • Prepare and submit bids, both manually and electronically, including all necessary supporting documents.
  • Track tender status and respond to pre-bid queries or clarifications.

3. Order & Transaction Handling

  • Process orders received through the GeM portal.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment, dispatch, and invoicing.
  • Resolve transactional or operational issues related to orders or payments.

4. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure adherence to government procurement policies and GeM regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of all transactions, correspondences, and compliance submissions.
  • Handle registration, vendor assessments, and audits as per government norms.

Key Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Public Procurement, or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in managing the GeM portal and handling government tenders.
  • Strong understanding of e-procurement systems, central/state government processes, and documentation requirements.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in using the GeM portal and tender submission platforms.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.

Preferred:

  • Experience with public sector clients, PSUs, or defense procurement processes.
  • Familiarity with e-auctions, reverse auctions, and rate contract handling.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
