Experience:

Role Overview:

Technical Lead with strong Cloud (GCP) experience

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end cloud data engineering initiatives on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Architect, design, and build data pipelines using
DataFlow, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and DataProc
.
Work closely with cross-functional teams in an
agile DevOps
setup to deliver scalable data solutions.
Manage real-time and batch data processing systems using
Kafka / NiFi
.
Implement and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines, ensuring high availability and performance.
Utilize
Terraform
and automation scripts for cloud resource provisioning and configuration.
Integrate, secure, and monitor cloud components, storage systems, and data flows.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on design and best practices.

Mandatory Skills

812 years of experience in data engineering and cloud-based solution delivery.
GCP expertise
, with strong hands-on knowledge of:

GCS
BigQuery
Airflow
Cloud SQL
Pub/Sub / Kafka
DataFlow
Google Cloud SDK

Strong proficiency in
Python
for data engineering.
Experience with
Hadoop ecosystem
.
Understanding of
Terraform
and
Shell scripting
.
Experience in working with any
RDBMS
(MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.).
Proven experience working in
agile and DevOps
environments.

Good to Have / Added Advantage

GCP Data Engineer Certification.
Knowledge of CI/CD practices, monitoring, and logging tools.
Experience with distributed systems and high-volume data environments.
