Job Summary:

GCP Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop
cloud-native applications
using
Java or Python
on
GCP
.
Implement
microservices architecture
, APIs, and serverless solutions using GCP services.
Work with
GCP services
such as
Cloud Functions, App Engine, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Firestore
.
Optimize application performance and scalability in a cloud environment.
Collaborate with architects and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Ensure
security, reliability, and compliance
in application development.
Perform
unit testing, integration testing
, and participate in code reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong programming skills in
Java
or
Python
.
Hands-on experience with
Google Cloud Platform services
for application development.
Knowledge of
RESTful APIs
,
JSON
, and
asynchronous programming
.
Familiarity with
containerization
(Docker) and
orchestration
(Kubernetes) for application deployment.
Experience with
SQL/NoSQL databases
(Cloud SQL, Firestore, BigQuery).
Understanding of
CI/CD pipelines
for application delivery (basic exposure, not full DevOps role).
Good grasp of
cloud security best practices
.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with
event-driven architecture
using
Pub/Sub

Exposure to
data processing pipelines
on GCP.
GCP certification (Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Developer) is a plus.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
