Job Description

GCP Data Engineer

5 to 10 years of experience

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy scalable IoT data pipelines using GCP services.
Build and optimize data workflows using
BigQuery
,
Dataflow
, and
Airflow
.
Write clean, reusable, and maintainable Python code for data processing tasks.
Monitor and troubleshoot data ingestion and transformation processes to ensure reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT data with analytics and monitoring platforms.
Implement security best practices for handling and storing IoT data.
Document solutions and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong proficiency in
Python
for data engineering tasks.
Hands-on experience with
GCP services
: BigQuery, Dataflow, Airflow.
Experience in
IoT data ingestion
, transformation, and storage architecture.
Understanding of data quality, reliability, and security principles.
Ability to optimize workflows for performance and cost efficiency.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
