Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a high-performing GCP Data Engineer with strong foundational skills in data integration and cloud-native development. The ideal candidate will have 35 years of experience in data engineering, including at least 2–3 years working hands-on with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This role focuses on building data and integrating with enterprise Gen-Ai data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, and maintain data pipelines using Dataflow for API, Bigtable, BigQuery endpoints.
Implement data ingestion and transformation workflows using Autosys
Work with Bigtable for real-time and batch data processing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements
Optimize performance and cost-efficiency of data workflows on GCP
Apply client data quality, reliability, and security frameworks (CDN Next, CAMP, etc...); in other words Wells Fargo experience a plus

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3–5+ years of experience in data engineering or data integration
Minimum 2–3+ years of hands-on experience with GCP

Strong proficiency in:

Unix/Linux scripting
SQL (complex queries, performance tuning)
GCP Dataflow; and/or BigQuery, and/or Bigtable
Autosys or similar job scheduling tools
High aptitude for learning and applying new technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

GCP certification (e.g., Professional Data Engineer) is a plus
Familiarity with Python or Java for pipeline development
