GCP Data Architect

As a Data Architecture professional, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data-centric solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and implementing data-centric solutions on GCP using tools like Big Query, Google Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Memory Store, Dataflow, Dataproc, Artifact Registry, Cloud Build, Cloud Run, Vertex AI, Pub/Sub, and GCP APIs. - Building ETL pipelines to ingest data from various sources into the system. - Developing data processing pipelines in Java and Python for ETL processes. - Creating and maintaining data models to ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of large datasets. - Deploying and managing SQL and NoSQL databases like Bigtable, Firestore, or Cloud SQL based on project requirements. - Optimizing data workflows for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness on GCP infrastructure. - Implementing version control and CI/CD practices for data engineering workflows. - Utilizing GCP monitoring and logging tools to proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks and system failures. Additionally, you will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing, storage, and retrieval. You will also need to address code quality issues using tools like SonarQube, Checkmarx, Fossa, and Cycode throughout the development lifecycle. Implementing security measures and data governance policies to ensure data integrity and confidentiality will be crucial aspects of your role. Furthermore, you will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define data requirements aligned with business objectives. Documenting data engineering processes and participating in on-call rotations for critical issue resolution will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members to foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment will be expected of you.,
