GCP Cloud Architect

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-native architectures using various GCP services like Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, and Kubernetes Engine (GKE). You will create technical designs considering factors such as security, performance, and cost-efficiency. Your key responsibilities include: - Solution Design & Implementation: Design and implement cloud-native architectures using various GCP services. - Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain IaC using tools like Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager. - Migration: Lead cloud migration projects from on-premises or other cloud environments to GCP. - Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud performance using tools like Stackdriver or Cloud Monitoring. - Collaboration & Guidance: Work with cross-functional teams to define and enforce cloud architecture best practices and provide technical guidance to engineering teams. To qualify for this role, you should have: - Deep knowledge of GCP services and architectures. - Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), serverless computing, and networking. - Proficiency in programming or scripting languages like Python, Go, or Java. - Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues. - Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect certification is often a required or preferred qualification.
