• Diagnosis and treatment: Diagnose and treat a wide range of GI disorders, including cancers, inflammatory bowel disease, and liver diseases.
• Surgical procedures: Perform complex surgical interventions on the esophagus, stomach, intestines, colon, liver, pancreas, and biliary system.
• Endoscopic procedures: Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures like upper GI endoscopies, colonoscopies, and biopsies.
• Patient management: Manage patient care, from initial assessment to long-term follow-up, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaboration: Work with other healthcare professionals, such as oncologists and primary care physicians, to provide comprehensive care.
• Leadership and research: Supervise and mentor junior staff, participate in clinical research, and stay current with the latest medical advancements.
