Job Description

Role Overview: As a member of the Fluid Systems coordination team at Siemens Energy in Gurgaon, India, you will play a pivotal role in the Global Customer Operations, Fluid Systems department. Your responsibilities will involve preparing detailed designs, standard technical specifications, and request for quotation (RFQ) documents for Siemens Energy Medium Gas Turbine fluid systems such as fuel gas, fuel oil, lubrication oil, compressed air, wet injection, compressor washing, and drain systems. You will be actively involved in solving standard gas turbine product issues and site issues within the R&D department, driving tasks related meetings, preparing technical documents, and supporting detailed design by vendors. Additionally, you will contribute to vendor evaluations, cost-saving initiatives, and implementation in PLM2020, SAP, and other related databases. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed designs, standard technical specifications, and RFQ documents for Siemens Energy Medium Gas Turbine fluid systems - Solve standard gas turbine product issues and site issues within the R&D department - Drive tasks related meetings, prepare technical documents, and support detailed design by vendors - Contribute to vendor evaluations, cost-saving initiatives, and implementation in PLM2020, SAP, and related databases Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering or a related field - 3 to 10 years of engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years in power plant engineering - Strong communication skills, global travel readiness, and flexibility in taking on new responsibilities - Expertise in fluid system engineering, gas power generation business, and relevant technical areas will be advantageous Additional Company Details: Siemens Energy is committed to energizing society and combating climate change through technology and the dedication of its team members.
