Gas Manifold Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled Gas Manifold Technician to manage and maintain the medical gas supply systems within our hospital premises. The ideal candidate should have a background in Operation Theatre & Anesthesia Technology (OT & AT) or a Diploma in Gas Manifold Systems, with 0–3 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain medical gas manifold systems including oxygen, nitrous oxide, vacuum, and compressed air.
• Ensure uninterrupted and safe delivery of gases to critical hospital areas such as ICUs, OTs, and patient wards.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of the gas plant and manifold systems.
• Monitor cylinder pressures, changeover operations, and ensure proper documentation/log maintenance.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely refilling and replacement of gas cylinders.
• Troubleshoot and rectify issues related to gas delivery systems.
• Follow safety protocols and hospital policies regarding gas handling and storage.
• Support biomedical and facility management teams during emergency breakdowns or audits.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification: B.Sc in OT & AT / Diploma in Gas Manifold Technology
• Experience: 0 to 3 years (hospital sector preferred)
