GAS Cutter

As a Metal Cutter, your primary responsibility will be to manually or machine-based cut metal components using oxy-fuel gas cutting equipment. You will need to read and interpret blueprints or sketches to accurately mark cutting lines. Additionally, you will be responsible for setting up and operating gas cutting tools, which includes tasks such as connecting hoses, adjusting regulators, and selecting appropriate nozzles. One of your key duties will involve preheating materials before cutting or welding to ensure precision and efficiency in the cutting process. You will also be required to regularly inspect and maintain equipment to uphold safety standards and ensure optimal performance. Moreover, as a Metal Cutter, you will be responsible for cleaning and finishing cut surfaces to meet specified requirements. This is a full-time position that requires your presence in person at the work location.
