Garment Production & Quality Supervisor

Role Overview: As a professional at Indophilia, a tech-powered women's wear company serving customers in the US and India, your role will involve leading daily garment production with a focus on maintaining high quality standards. Your expertise in garment manufacturing, fabric behavior, and finishing techniques will be crucial for success in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Define construction techniques considering fabric type and design, such as selecting the appropriate stitch type, seam finish, reinforcement, and support materials. - Establish standardized methods for garment elements like neckline, sleeve, and hem. - Supervise daily production activities and provide guidance to tailors on correct techniques. - Create and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various fabrics and garment types. - Identify and resolve construction or quality issues, implementing necessary corrective actions. - Conduct quality checks during production to ensure proper fit, finish, and measurements. - Collaborate with the CAD pattern team to ensure the feasibility of production. - Keep detailed production logs and quality control reports.
