Qualification: Graduate in Horticulture (B.Sc. in Horticulture preferred)
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in garden maintenance, nursery management, or horticulture operations
Location: VGP Heritage, Injambakkam, Chennai - 600115.
Salary Range: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Role Overview:

The Garden Maintenance & Nursery In-Charge will be responsible for the upkeep of all gardens and landscaped areas within VGP Heritage, efficient management of the nursery, and accountability for plant sales. The role demands hands-on horticultural expertise, leadership skills, and a strong sense of responsibility in maintaining plant health and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day garden and landscape maintenance, including lawns, trees, ornamental plants, and flowering beds.
• Plan and execute seasonal plantation, pruning, pest/disease management, and irrigation schedules.
• Manage nursery operations including propagation, grafting, potting, transplanting, and plant health monitoring.
• Maintain accurate nursery inventory and ensure quality stock for plant sales.
• Handle both retail and bulk plant sales with proper billing, stock movement, and revenue accountability.
• Train, guide, and supervise gardeners and nursery staff; assign daily/weekly tasks.
• Maintain detailed horticultural records, plant sales registers, and expense statements.
• Prepare reports and development plans for garden and nursery operations.
• Ensure sustainable, cost-effective horticultural practices.
