Role Overview: As a member of the Accounting Quality team at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in driving quality within the accounting organization to reduce risk and enhance financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include executing in-house testing of Manual Journal Entries, Account Reconciliations, and Quarterly Reporting Schedules, summarizing testing results, assisting in preparation of global accounting training, and monitoring risk to achieve quality accounting objectives. You will collaborate with global accounting teams, gather and analyze performance metrics, and support management with ad-hoc projects and initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Execute in-house testing of Manual Journal Entries, Account Reconciliations, Quarterly Reporting Schedules - Summarize and track testing results, identifying areas for improvement - Assist in preparing global accounting training and root cause analysis - Monitor and address risk to drive Quality accounting objectives - Promote quality awareness and embed it in the organizational culture - Gather and analyze data, document performance metrics - Develop effective relationships with global accounting teams - Conduct data analysis to identify trends and patterns - Support management with ad-hoc projects and initiatives Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting - 3+ years of accounting experience - Proficiency in US GAAP - Background in Audit, SOX, or Quality Assurance - CPA and/or Chartered Account certification - Exposure to working in an ERP instance, preferably Oracle Additional Details: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing accessible processes for individuals with disabilities.
