Job Description - 88 Games

We are looking for game and level designers to work at our Bengaluru office, who can create 2D and 3D levels and have the perseverance of repeated playtesting iterations to create fun mechanics and memorable levels. Position is in Bengaluru.

Skills

● Deep understanding of Gameplay, Mechanics, Controls, and Engagement

● Knowledge of Architectural Principles

● Good interpretation of the Game Designer’s direction

○ Ability to create level layouts from scratch on paper to engine with game metrics.

○ Create documents listing elements, objectives, and layout of each level

○ Ability to map out the level with proper difficulty graph and level pace.

○ Map out sequences of actions/events/cutscenes within the level using level timeline

● Proficient in engines like Unity3D and Unreal Engine

● Ability to have the creative vision for the level’s elements which go with the environment

● Ability to communicate design ideas clearly to the production team and coordinate effectively to get the feature implemented in the game.

● Review data of playtest sessions and process the feedback effectively

Knowledge

● Good knowledge of Level Design

● Decent knowledge of Game Design

● Good aptitude and problem-solving skills

● Good knowledge of Physics based elements in games

● Is up to date with gaming trends and the industry.

Experience

● At Least 3 years or more experience working as a level designer in Unity

○ Have worked on projects from concept to final

○ Have worked on existing projects

● Have worked on both 2D and 3D projects

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
