FXOne Senior QA Engineer

As a FXOne Senior QA Engineer at Barclays, you will be spearheading the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. Your role will involve harnessing cutting-edge technology to revolutionise digital offerings and ensure unparalleled customer experiences. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure compliance with quality standards. - Create and execute automated test scripts, leveraging testing frameworks and tools for early detection of defects and quality issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria. - Conduct root cause analysis for identified defects, working closely with developers to provide detailed information and support defect resolution. - Promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing by participating in code reviews and collaborating with peers. - Stay informed about industry technology trends, actively contribute to the organization's technology communities, and foster a culture of technical excellence and growth. **Qualifications Required:** - Strong QA and test automation testing experience (8 years or more). - Experience in manual and exploratory testing, familiarity with different testing methods and techniques (5 years or more). - Experience in Java OR Python programming language (5 years for one, some exposure for the other). - Familiarity with continuous integration systems such as TeamCity or Jenkins, version control systems like GIT, and build automation tools like Maven or Gradle. - Working knowledge of issue/bug tracking system like JIRA, SQL or DSL queries experience, and log file analysis with debugging. - Good understanding of agile development, shift left, and TDD approaches. - Effective communication skills to collaborate with test and development team members, project members, managers, support, and users. **Additional Company Details:** This role will be based out of Pune.
