As a Merchant at Goel Exports, your role is crucial in managing end-to-end merchandising activities and serving as the primary liaison between the company, buyers, and buying agencies. Your responsibilities include handling product development, sampling, costing, order execution, and ensuring timely delivery according to buyer specifications. - Buyer Communication: You will be responsible for daily communication with international buyers and buying agencies, understanding their needs, and ensuring accurate fulfillment. - Product Development: Coordinate sampling, obtain approvals, and collaborate closely with design and production teams. - Costing & Negotiation: Prepare costing sheets, negotiate prices, and finalize order details with buyers. - Order Management: Monitor orders from sampling to dispatch, ensuring adherence to production timelines. - Quality Coordination: Collaborate with quality and production teams to ensure products meet buyer expectations and quality standards. - Documentation: Prepare and maintain order sheets, approvals, T&A plans, and production follow-up reports. - Vendor Coordination: Communicate with fabric/trim suppliers and internal departments for seamless workflow. - Market Awareness: Stay informed about trends, buyer preferences, and competitive pricing. Preferred Candidate Profile: - Minimum 3 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in apparel/garment exports. - Strong communication skills and effective presentation abilities for interactions with buyers and agencies. - Capacity to handle multiple orders and meet deadlines. - Candidates residing in Noida or nearby areas are preferred due to proximity to the head office. - Sound knowledge of fabrics, trims, sampling processes, and export documentation.,
