Furniture cutting list specialist/Production planner

The role requires someone with 6 months to 3 years of experience to study and analyze furniture design drawings, shop drawings, or CAD layouts. You will be responsible for breaking down complete furniture items into individual parts, preparing cutting lists with precise dimensions, materials, edgebanding requirements, and quantities. Your role will involve optimizing material usage, coordinating with the design team, and communicating with the factory or production team to ensure smooth fabrication. You must ensure that cutting lists are ready on time for production deadlines and update them as necessary. To excel in this role, you should have a good understanding of furniture construction and joinery, be able to read and interpret technical drawings, possess knowledge of materials such as wood, boards, and laminates, and demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy. Basic computer knowledge, including AutoCAD, Excel, and ERP software, is required. Strong coordination and communication skills will be essential for effective collaboration with various teams.
