The Role As the National Sales Head – Furniture , you will own the P&L of sales across India , driving revenue growth through retail, distribution, e-commerce, and institutional channels . This is a strategic leadership role requiring sales vision, strong execution, and the ability to build high-performing teams . Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and implement the national sales strategy across retail, distribution, and online platforms. Drive expansion into Tier 1, 2, and 3 cities with scalable sales models. Ensure consistent achievement of revenue, margin, and market share targets. Channel & Business Development Build and strengthen relationships with distributors, retailers, modern trade, and institutional buyers. Drive e-commerce partnerships and omni-channel growth. Identify new business opportunities and expand geographic reach. Team Leadership & Performance Management Build, lead, and inspire a pan-India sales team . Set clear performance metrics, drive accountability, and enable growth through coaching. Collaborate with marketing and operations to ensure seamless customer experience. Market Intelligence & Brand Growth Track market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to refine strategy. Represent the brand at trade shows, exhibitions, and key industry forums. Provide feedback to product teams for continuous innovation. Qualifications & Experience 10+ years of experience in sales leadership , preferably in furniture, home décor, consumer durables, or lifestyle retail . Proven track record of scaling sales nationally and leading multi-channel businesses. Strong network with distributors, retailers, and institutional buyers. Demonstrated ability to lead large sales teams , manage budgets, and deliver on aggressive targets. Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
