The Lead IT QA Analyst position at Assurant-GCC, India involves collaborating with international clients, business partners, architects, developers, end users, management, and IT groups to lead test cases automation for various features. As a seasoned QA Automation Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for driving quality assurance initiatives with over 10 years of experience in QA automation, proficiency in modern automation tools, BDD frameworks, Java, .NET, Agile methodologies, REST API testing, and AI-driven testing tools. This role requires automating regression/sanity backlogs, integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines, running daily automated tests, and continuously updating and adding new scripts to maintain a robust test suite. Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and trends in automation is essential for success in this position. The location for this role will be in Hyderabad, India. Your duties and responsibilities in this job will include: - Leading and mentoring QA automation resources, offering strategic direction and technical oversight. - Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks using Java, .NET, and BDD tools like Cucumber/Spec Flow. - Automating regression test backlog, implementing in CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring daily execution and reporting. - Integrating automated tests into build pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent. - Driving REST API test automation using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate. - Collaborating with development, product, and DevOps teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. - Continuously evaluating and adopting modern QA tools, including AI-driven testing platforms. - Ensuring high test coverage and fast feedback cycles. - Regularly updating and enhancing existing test scripts while adding new ones to cover evolving product features. - Reviewing automation code and test coverage, ensuring quality and maintainability. - Identifying automation opportunities across UI, API, and backend services. - Staying updated with the latest automation tools, frameworks, and industry trends to enhance testing efficiency. - Providing detailed test execution reports and metrics to stakeholders for data-informed decisions. The requirements for this position include: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - 10+ years of QA experience with a focus on automation leadership. - Expertise in automation using Java and/or .NET. - Strong understanding of BDD frameworks, REST API testing and automation. - Familiarity with AI-based testing tools and a willingness to explore emerging automation technologies. - Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similar. - Solid knowledge of Agile and Scrum practices. - Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to mentor and guide other QA resources. - Hands-on experience with version control tools like Git, and test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr. Preferred requirements for this role include: - Experience with cloud-based test execution platforms like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs. - Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling. - Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes. - Understanding of Shift-Left and Shift-Right testing strategies. - Experience with data-driven and keyword-driven frameworks.,

You will work across both manual and automated testing , ensuring that every release meets the highest standards — especially in the areas of data accuracy, transactional integrity, and system stability. You'll also explore AI-powered testing tools to drive faster and smarter quality assurance. Defect lifecycle management : File and track bugs in Jira , ensuring high-impact issues are prioritized and reproducible. CI/CD quality gates : Integrate automated tests into pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI) for smooth, stable releases. Collaborate closely : Work alongside developers, PMs, and data teams to improve quality early in the SDLC, from product design through release. What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent. 2–5 years of experience in QA across Fintech, banking, or high-availability transactional platforms . Hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks (Playwright preferred). Exposure to AI/ML-driven QA tools like Testim, Applitools, Functionize, or Mabl. Experience testing RESTful APIs , SQL databases, and multi-service architectures. Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum, SDLC/STLC, and testing best practices. Awareness of security and compliance requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, CIBIL/credit data protection, GDPR). Analytical mindset with attention to financial accuracy, edge cases, and performance limits.
