Job Summary

Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain

    UI automation frameworks

    using Selenium/WebDriver.
  • Create and execute

    API test automation

    using Rest Assured or Postman.
  • Implement

    BDD frameworks

    (Cucumber/JBehave) to support behavior-driven development.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test scenarios and ensure high test coverage.
  • Participate in requirement analysis, design discussions, and sprint planning.
  • Integrate automated test suites into

    CI/CD pipelines

    (Jenkins).
  • Manage code versioning using

    Git

    and maintain clean, reusable automation code.
  • Perform test reporting, defect tracking, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Work with

    Maven

    for build, dependency management, and automation execution.

Mandatory Skills

  • Selenium / WebDriver

    for UI Automation

  • BDD Frameworks

    (e.g., Cucumber)
