Job Summary:
The Life Cycle Services Manager will be responsible to lead and manage Greenfield Site Installation and Commissioning Operations, Customer Trainings by ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery to customers. This role includes driving customer satisfaction, optimizing resource utilization, developing service strategies, and leading a team of field engineers to achieve business objectives. Also, functionally managing the Ovation IT Team for GEC, Noida.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Define the team's purpose by setting the objectives for the life cycle services aligned with the business goals.
- Continuous review with the front sales office (FSO) requirement for the field service operations including installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with Sales, Projects, and Technology teams to maximize customer value.
- Coordinate and plan for the Customer Training and certification of the Trainers.
- Ensure the availability of the Field Engineering Services Lab and the PWS Training Center in GEC.
- Collaborate for the Capex for the inventory required for the LCS lab, Training Center and the field service engineers.
- Identify opportunities for service growth, including upgrades, horizontal expansion, and training.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs to ensure a comprehensive training and certification program is in place for the required skills - e.g; Cybersecurity, Data links, Ovation Trouble shooting.
- Support proposals team with technical input for service proposals.
- Drive excellent work culture by following transparency, prioritizing skill development, succession planning, individual development plans for the team, and performance management.
- Ensure development and skill enhancement of system integrators (SI) and local business partners (LBP) for the identified world areas
- Drive safety as a core value and ensure compliance with Emerson prescribed health and safety norms at customer sites and testing at the GEC and customer site regulations.
- Ensure timely submission of time sheets, expense reports and other administrative functions for the team.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- B.Tech. /B.E. is essential with minimum of 12 years of DCS/Power Plant Instrumentation experience.
- Candidates having following exposure would be an added advantage --
- Prior experience in team leader capacity
- Experience in Field Services
- Strong technical knowledge of process automation, DCS/SCADA, control systems, and instrumentation, Data links.
- Good communication and customer management skills
