Functional Auditor

Job Role : Functional Auditor

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Functional Auditor to join our audit team in Qatar. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in stock auditing, process verification, and compliance monitoring within the retail or hypermarket sector.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct functional audits across various store departments including Inventory, Sales, Procurement, and Operations.

Perform stock audits, review stock movements, and identify discrepancies or variances.

Evaluate operational processes to ensure adherence to SOPs and company policies.

Identify risks, deviations, and control gaps and provide actionable recommendations.

Prepare structured audit reports with clear observations and improvement suggestions.

Monitor implementation of corrective actions and ensure timely closure.

Support in developing audit checklists and strengthening internal control measures.

Collaborate with store teams to facilitate smooth audit activities.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 1 year of experience in functional audits with a strong stock audit background.

Prior experience in Retail / FMCG / Hypermarket is highly preferred.

Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.

Good written and verbal communication skills along with strong reporting ability.

Proficiency in MS Excel and basic audit tools.

Willingness to travel within Qatar for store-level audits.
