Fullstack PHP Developer

As a Mid-Level Fullstack PHP Developer at Berkowits Hair & Skin Clinics, you will step into a high-impact, ownership-driven role where your skills will shape the digital ecosystem. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Maintaining and enhancing existing PHP + Prestashop systems - Building robust APIs to support the Next.js frontend migration - Managing hosting on GoDaddy and transitioning workflows to VPS or AWS - Collaborating with cross-functional teams including React and Flutter developers - Setting up and streamlining development environments and version control workflows - Upholding high standards for code quality, performance, and security Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of structured backend development experience in PHP (Core or Laravel) - Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex MySQL queries - Expertise in Prestashop theme/module customization and third-party integration - Ability to design, expose, and consume REST APIs - Basic frontend skills in HTML, CSS, JS with collaborative ability on React frontends - Hands-on experience with Git and team workflows for version control - Familiarity with Linux hosting (GoDaddy/VPS) for server handling, cron jobs, SSH, and file permissions - Strong problem-solving skills with a mindset of ownership and ability to work independently At Berkowits Hair & Skin Clinics, you will have the opportunity to grow into roles such as Tech Lead/Engineering Owner for digital platforms, recruit and mentor future developers, and gain exposure to AWS DevOps, scalable architecture, and product ownership within the next 12-18 months.
