Fullstack Engineer

Role Overview: As a Fullstack Engineer at GlobalLogic, you will be joining the APPS team, a group of highly skilled technologists dedicated to building innovative platform products and services for over 100M+ users and streaming devices. Your primary responsibility will be to determine the strategic and tactical direction of the front-end architecture, design, develop, test, deploy, and document impactful features, and suggest tools and best practices to enhance site stability, performance, and quality. You will also participate in the Agile development process and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Determine the strategic and tactical direction of the front-end architecture. - Design, develop, test, deploy, and document impactful features with cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and search engine optimization. - Suggest tools, technologies, and best practices to improve site stability, performance, and quality. - Participate in Agile development process, including scoping, technical design, estimation effort, coding, testing, debugging, code reviews, maintenance, and support. - Design efficient content models, user workflows, and page templates. - Advocate for and lead by example on the tenets of operational excellence. - Collaborate with product managers, user experience, and data engineering. Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of relevant web development and production application support experience. - 3+ years of in-depth experience with React and relevant toolset/framework ecosystem. - Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript - prototypical inheritance, scope, and closures. - Experience with Node.js, React.js/Angular.js, Express, SASS/LESS, AWS, npm, Git, and CI. - Knowledge of the latest open standards and web technologies. - Ability to decompose complex problems into manageable units of work. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Experience with Agile methodologies. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
