Fullstack Engineer

As a Fullstack Engineer at GlobalLogic, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, and deploying impactful features for highly trafficked consumer-facing web applications. Your expertise in React, Node.js, and various web technologies will be essential in improving site stability, performance, and quality. You will collaborate with a team of highly skilled technologists to build innovative platform products and services that connect users to streaming content they love and enable content publishers to reach large audiences. **Role Overview:** Join the APPS team at GlobalLogic as a Fullstack Engineer to contribute to the strategic and tactical direction of front-end architecture. Your responsibilities will include designing efficient content models, user workflows, and page templates, as well as advocating for operational excellence and leading by example. You will work in an Agile development process, collaborating with product managers, user experience, and data engineering to deliver high-quality solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Determine the strategic and tactical direction of the front-end architecture - Design, develop, test, deploy, and document impactful features with cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and search engine optimization - Suggest tools, technologies, and best practices to improve site stability, performance, and quality - Participate in Agile development process, including scoping, technical design, estimation effort, coding, testing, debugging, code reviews, maintenance, and support - Design efficient content models, user workflows, and page templates - Advocate for and lead by example on the tenets of operational excellence - Collaborate with product managers, user experience, and data engineering **Qualifications Required:** - 6+ years of relevant web development and production application support experience - 3+ years of in-depth experience with React and relevant toolset/framework ecosystem - Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript, including prototypical inheritance, scope, and closures - Experience with Node.js, React.js/Angular.js, Express, SASS/LESS, AWS, npm, Git, and CI - Knowledge of the latest open standards and web technologies - Ability to decompose complex problems into manageable units of work - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Experience with Agile methodologies - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent At GlobalLogic, you will experience a culture of caring that prioritizes inclusivity and personal growth.
