Fullstack Developer - API Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain API integrations for internal and external platforms, API aggregators, and mission-critical applications.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teamsincluding software engineers, product managers, and business analysts—to accurately capture and implement integration requirements.
  
• Self-explore, test, and lead partner-facing technical communications to drive successful completion of integrations.
  
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, including comprehensive API and API Test Collections, and utilize mock data for development and validation.
  
• Promptly troubleshoot and resolve API integration issues to minimize disruption.
  
• Monitor and optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability for continuous improvement.
  
• Ensure rigorous implementation of security protocols, data protection standards, and compliance measures relevant to Financial Services integration environments.

Must Have Qualifications:

• Proven hands-on experience in API development and integration.
  
• Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as Java (SpringBoot), Python (Flask), or similar technologies.
  
• Strong grasp of RESTful and SOAP API design and implementation.
  
• Familiarity with authentication protocols including OAuth and JWT.
  
• Experience using API management tools like Postman, Swagger, Bruno, and related platforms.
  
• Demonstrated experience with API Gateway management and administration.
  
• Exposure to and proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, OCI, Azure, or GCP.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, strong communication and collaboration skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to best practices in code and security.
