Full Stack Engineer

Wiser Solutions is a suite of in-store and eCommerce intelligence and execution tools on a mission to enable brands, retailers, and retail channel partners to gather intelligence and automate actions for optimizing in-store and online pricing, marketing, and operations initiatives. The Commerce Execution Suite is available globally. We are seeking a highly capable Full Stack Engineer to play a key role in the development of our suite of product offerings. The primary goal is to elegantly and cost-effectively solve complex problems by collecting, categorizing, and analyzing semi-structured data from various sources. By leveraging this data, we help customers discover new patterns that can enhance their competitiveness and revenue generation. Key Responsibilities: - Developing and maintaining customer-facing UI and server-side components. - Ensuring optimal performance of databases and responsiveness to front-end requests. - Designing UI and back-end services for business processes. - Writing high-performance applications with testable, reusable, and efficient code. - Implementing security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions. - Conducting diagnostic tests, defect repairs, and providing technical support. - Documenting processes, including database schemas, and preparing reports. - Recommending and implementing process and technology improvements. - Contributing innovative ideas to the team for enhancements. Qualifications: - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience. - Proficiency in architecting and delivering solutions within a distributed software platform. - Full stack engineering experience, including React/Redux, NodeJS/NestJS/Typescript, GraphQL. - Ability to learn quickly, make pragmatic decisions, and adapt to changing business needs. - Effective organization and prioritization skills in a dynamic environment. - Advanced proficiency in SQL for designing, querying, optimizing, and maintaining databases. - Understanding of Data Pipeline, Workflow Automation, and orchestration tools. - Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform. - Task design and estimation skills, coordinating work with team members. - Strong testing habits, eye for quality, and automation. - Ownership mentality with a sense of accountability for project execution. - Experience in agile team environments. Bonus Skills: - Knowledge of APM tools like Coralogix, Grafana, or New Relic. - Experience with CQRS, Domain Driven Design, C4 modeling. - Background in retail or ecommerce environments. - Familiarity with AI Coding Agents and workflow automation engines.
