As a Full-Stack Developer (Drupal CMS + React/Next.js), you will be responsible for building and evolving a contemporary, decoupled platform powered by a Drupal CMS backend and a React/Next.js frontend. You will work across the stack, contribute to the component and pattern library in Storybook, and uphold quality through comprehensive testing using Jest on the frontend and Behat on the backend. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build user-facing features with React and Next.js, focusing on performance, accessibility, and maintainability. - Implement and extend Drupal (10+) for a headless architecture, including custom modules, services, and integrations. - Design and consume APIs (JSON:API and/or GraphQL) that connect Drupal with the Next.js frontend. - Develop and maintain a reusable component/pattern library in Storybook to drive consistency and component-driven development. - Write and maintain tests: - Frontend: unit and integration tests with Jest and React Testing Library, including snapshot and mocking best practices. - Backend: acceptance tests with Behat (Gherkin) for content models, workflows, and permissions, using appropriate Mink drivers. - Optimize performance across the stack, ensuring accessibility, semantic HTML, robust ARIA usage, and keyboard navigation across components. - Uphold security best practices in both Drupal and Next.js, collaborating cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and QA. **Qualifications Required:** - Professional experience building decoupled applications with Drupal and Next.js/React. - Strong proficiency in Drupal module development, React, Next.js, API design and integration, writing tests, HTML, CSS, Git-based workflows, and collaborative development. - Experience maintaining a Storybook library, documenting components, and familiarity with performance tooling and monitoring/logging practices.
