As a Full Stack Developer Tax 2 at Barclays, you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects to plan, budget, agreed quality, and governance standards. You will spearhead the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence to ensure unparalleled customer experiences. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensure that the code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance. - Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration with business objectives. - Participate in code reviews, promote a culture of code quality, and knowledge sharing. - Stay informed of industry technology trends, actively contribute to the organization's technology communities, and foster a culture of technical excellence and growth. - Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions. - Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience with C#.net, DI, API, multithreading, React, SQL (ORACLE/MS SQL), Java, Spring Boot, REST API, basic database operations, React, HTML5, CSS3, basic understanding of CI/CD tools (Gitlab/Jenkins), test frameworks, containerization like Kubernetes, and Docker. - Highly valued skills include design and deliver high-quality .Net applications, hands-on experience in React, and experience in containerization platforms. The purpose of this role is to design, develop, and improve software utilizing various engineering methodologies to provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for customers and colleagues. You will be expected to perform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high standard consistently driving continuous improvement.
