Full Stack Developer

You will be working as a Full-Stack Developer in Mohali, contributing to the architecture, development, and scaling of an AI-powered regulatory compliance and collaboration platform for businesses in highly regulated industries like legal and financial services in the UK. The platform ensures compliance with FCA, SRA, and other evolving standards, offering a role-agnostic hierarchy engine, AI-driven content analysis, and granular permission control for multi-party collaboration. Your responsibilities will include building scalable backend APIs using Nest.js and Express.js, creating SEO-friendly frontends with Next.js, designing infrastructure to support modular monolith and microservices, implementing granular permissions, audit trails, and AI-assisted review workflows, integrating Python-based AI services, and fostering a developer-first culture in a fast-paced team. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and develop backend services using Nest.js, Express.js, and PostgreSQL - Build responsive and performant frontends with Next.js - Engage in DevOps processes, including containerization and CI/CD pipelines - Assist in the migration from monolith to microservices as the platform grows - Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with good documentation and GitHub collaboration - Collaborate with various functions in an agile environment Must-Have Skills: - Proficiency in Nest.js, Express.js, and Next.js - Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and API development best practices - Understanding of modular monolith architecture and transition to microservices - Proficiency in Git and GitHub practices - Hands-on experience with Docker and container-based development - Ability to thrive in a startup or high-ownership team environment - Strong problem-solving skills and independence - Knowledge of secure auth mechanisms like OAuth 2.0, JWT, and 2FA Nice-to-Have Skills: - AWS knowledge (ECS, S3, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager) - Exposure to event-driven systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ - Experience with AI/ML services integration, especially Python-based - Familiarity with regulatory environments and compliance platforms - Experience with tools such as Swagger, Postman, GitLab CI/CD, Prometheus, or Grafana Joining this team will allow you to work on a ground-floor product team, contribute to a platform integrating AI and real-time collaboration to solve compliance challenges, shape the architecture and development culture, and work with modern tech stacks and best practices.
