Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Work on the development, implementation, and maintenance of applications
Develop unit tests using test-driven development techniques
Collaborate with internal end users to understand and respond to their needs
Troubleshoot technical issues reported by users and team members
Participate as a team member on medium to large projects
Identify and solve problems/incidents in production
Show proactivity with a focus on continuous improvement
Participate in performing functional and technical analysis
Continuously learn about the banking, finance, and funds industry

Skills Required:

Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science with 5+ years of experience
Comfortable with Agile/DevOps methodology and Git source control
Good experience with Python/Django, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and SQL
Experience with AlpineJS, HTMX, and Tailwind CSS is considered an advantage
Experience building back-end APIs using Django REST Framework
Experience with Pandas and ETL processes for data integration automation
Familiarity with Azure API Gateway, Oracle DB, and PostgreSQL is a plus
Ability to produce technical documentation
Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and decision-making skills
Team player with good communication skills and fluency in English
Exposure to the funds industry
