Full Stack Developer - C++

As a Software Engineer in our global engineering organization, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and enhancing our file transfer solutions and products for over 5000 global enterprise customers. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing robust, high-performance, and secure file transfer products using Modern C++ (version 11 and later) and Java. - Building and maintaining RESTful integrations with JSON and XML. - Enhancing web-based UIs using JavaScript, JQuery, and related frameworks. - Implementing and optimizing support for various file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTP/S, FTP/S). - Designing and implementing automated unit and integration tests in a shift-left testing environment. - Collaborating with team leads and architects on system design and feature planning. - Partnering with Quality Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure reliable and maintainable enterprise software. - Working with cloud technologies like AWS and Azure for infrastructure deployment and scaling. - Contributing to team ceremonies and technical documentation in an Agile Scrum environment. - Taking ownership of assigned modules and mentoring junior engineers when necessary. Qualifications required for this role include: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 3-6 years of professional experience in software engineering, with strong skills in Modern C++ and OOP development. - Solid knowledge of REST APIs, integration patterns, and data formats like JSON. - Proficiency in JavaScript, JQuery, and modern front-end development concepts. - Strong understanding of file transfer and networking protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTP/S). - Experience with version control (Git, SVN) and collaboration tools such as JIRA, TFS. - Familiarity with Agile Scrum development methodologies. - Good understanding of cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. - Security-first mindset, especially concerning networking and data exchange.
