Frontend Engineer

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients in Gurgaon and requires a minimum of 5 years of experience. Key Responsibilities: Design and Develop UI Components: You will be tasked with constructing reusable and scalable frontend components using ReactJS, following best practices in design and performance. Architecture & Performance: Your role will involve architecting efficient and maintainable codebases with a focus on performance, scalability, and responsiveness across various devices and browsers. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Working closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA teams, you will contribute to delivering high-quality features. Maintain Code Quality: Uphold coding standards by writing clean, modular, well-documented code and participating in code reviews. Stay Current: Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in frontend development, the React ecosystem, and modern JavaScript tooling. Debug & Optimize: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, UI inconsistencies, and usability issues, optimizing rendering performance, lazy loading, and data fetching strategies. Mentorship & Guidance: Share knowledge with junior engineers, offer technical guidance, and help foster a strong engineering culture. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 5-8 years of professional experience in frontend development, focusing on building complex, production-grade applications using ReactJS. - Profound understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and the DOM. - Experience with state management libraries like Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or Context API. - Familiarity with React hooks, functional components, and modern React patterns. - Proficiency in creating responsive designs using frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, SCSS, or Styled Components. - Experience integrating RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints and managing asynchronous data flows. - Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance-tuning skills. - Proficient with build tools and bundlers like Webpack, Vite, or Rollup, and package managers such as npm or yarn. - Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress. - Experience with version control tools like Git and working in agile development environments. Good to Have: - Exposure to TypeScript in React-based projects. - Familiarity with server-side rendering frameworks like Next.js. - Experience in CI/CD practices for frontend deployments. - Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and internationalization (i18n).,
