Frontend Engineer I Angular (Japanese Bilingual)

You will be a Front End Software Developer at NCR VOYIX Corporation, contributing to the development of high-quality software solutions using various web technologies such as HTML5/CSS3, Native JavaScript, AngularJS, Angular, ReactJS, and other web server technologies. Your primary responsibility will be to develop software that meets requirements, promotes re-use of software components, and facilitates ease of support. Additionally, you will diagnose and implement remedies for system failures, identify and implement process improvements, and provide technical content for documentation and training. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop high-quality software solutions that meet requirements and promote re-use of software components - Diagnose and implement remedies for system failures caused by errors in software code - Identify and implement process improvements in Engineering practices - Utilize software-based system maintenance and tracking tools - Provide technical content for technical documentation, user help materials, and customer training - Conduct unit tests, track problems, and implement changes to ensure adherence to test plan and requirements - Implement software mechanisms to improve code stability, performance, and reusability - Participate and lead code review sessions - Create high fidelity estimates of work efforts - Apply good debugging and troubleshoot techniques to resolve defects found in software - Develop high-quality documentation such as functional specifications, component test specifications, and integration test specifications - Improve test driven development while producing software - Learn and apply test methodology, processes, procedures, standards, and tools used by the team - Practice Agile development principles with Scrum - Use and try to improve Agile tools being used in the development **Qualifications:** - 2+ years of related experience with a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field - Strong web development skills using HTML5/CSS3, Native JavaScript, AngularJS, Angular, ReactJS, and other web server technologies - Strong understanding of Software Development and Quality Assurance best practices - Strong troubleshooting techniques and problem-solving skills - Ability to understand business and technical requirements - Ability to document requirements in the form of word documents and/or UML diagrams - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills - Proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written) preferred for effective communication with Japanese-speaking stakeholders and candidates **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with POS and Self-Checkout Integrations - Experience with Cloud development - Experience working with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud technologies is an added advantage Please note that offers of employment are conditional upon passing screening criteria applicable to the job.,
