Frontend Developer - Web (Team Leader)

As a React JS/Next JS Developer Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading the end-to-end development of a web-based stock trading platform using React JS. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as product managers, backend developers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers, to ensure the delivery of a high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly web application. Your expertise in React JS, web architecture, and fintech will be instrumental in driving the success of the platform in a competitive market. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership to a team of Next JS and React JS developers, offering guidance, conducting code reviews, and providing mentorship to ensure the delivery of high-quality output. In addition, you will be involved in the architectural design, development, and maintenance of a robust and scalable stock trading web application, focusing on low-latency performance for real-time market data. Collaboration with UI/UX designers is essential to implement pixel-perfect, responsive UI/UX using Tailwind CSS, adhering to SEBI's usability and accessibility guidelines. Your role will also include optimizing web app performance for high-frequency trading, ensuring fast rendering, minimal latency, and efficient state management. Security implementation is a critical aspect, requiring measures such as end-to-end encryption, secure API authentication (OAuth 2.0), and compliance with SEBI's cybersecurity framework. You will be expected to build reusable React components and maintain a modular codebase for scalability and maintainability. Leading sprint planning, task estimation, and delivery in an Agile environment using tools like Jira or Trello will also be part of your responsibilities. Staying updated with React JS, Next JS advancements, and fintech trends to integrate features like real-time charts, push notifications, and secure user authentication will be crucial for innovation. Collaboration with QA teams to implement automated testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools like Jest, React Testing Library) is essential to ensure the reliability of the application. Regulatory compliance with SEBI regulations, KYC norms, and data privacy laws must also be ensured to maintain the platform's integrity. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 8+ years of web development experience, with a minimum of 3 years in React JS development and 1+ years in a lead or senior developer role. Proficiency in React JS, Next JS, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern web development tools is required, along with a strong understanding of state management, web app architecture patterns, and performance optimization techniques. Prior experience in building financial or stock trading web applications, leadership skills, and a relevant educational background are also essential for this position.
