Frontend Developer - IoT & Cloud Apps

As a Frontend Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications and supporting infrastructure for solar and solar-hybrid energy systems. Your role will involve close collaboration with firmware and product development teams to ensure consistent functionality and seamless user experiences. You will also optimize front-end performance for stable application behavior, even in low-bandwidth or remote locations. Additionally, you will participate in designing and implementing user-focused features for IoT-enabled products and support the maintenance of production systems following established change management processes. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain web applications and supporting infrastructure for solar and solar-hybrid energy systems. - Work closely with firmware and product development teams to ensure consistent functionality and seamless user experiences. - Optimize front-end performance for stable application behavior in various environments. - Participate in designing and implementing user-focused features for IoT-enabled products. - Support the maintenance of production systems and adhere to change management processes. Qualifications Required: - 2-3 years of experience with AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, API Gateway, VPC, IAM, and Cognito. - Strong experience in vanilla JavaScript development and debugging. - 2-3 years of hands-on experience with React.js. - Familiarity with CloudFormation and AWS SAM. - Experience in working with production environments and implementing change management best practices. - Understanding of GDPR and CCPA compliance principles. - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and web accessibility standards (e.g., WAI-ARIA guidelines). Preferred Skills: - Exposure to Preact, TypeScript, or AWS IoT Core. - Experience in interfacing with embedded hardware or IoT devices.,
