Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service to all guests to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction through
personalized service
from arrival until departure.
Ensure guests are personally greeted and escorted to their rooms. Explain the room and other hotel facilities to make them feel both expected and welcomed. Conduct in-room and hotel familiarization, and assist guests with any hotel activity inquiries or requests.
Maintain an
up-to-date knowledge
of hotel information and local services, including operating hours, promotions, events, and attractions, to respond to guest queries effectively. Be aware of daily rate levels and occupancy levels.
Accurately administer Front Desk cashiering standards and comply with all established systems, policies, and procedures. Process guest accounts from check-in to check-out, ensuring all incidental charges are accurately posted using the computerized Front Office system.
Maintain the
privacy of all guests
by ensuring their personal details are not disclosed. Demonstrate a complete understanding of the hotels policies, procedures, and service standards, and have full knowledge of the hotel's facilities and happenings.
Ensure a
proper handover
is given to the next shift and coordinate effectively with the Housekeeping Department.
