As a Front Desk Officer cum Admin Assistant, you will serve as the initial point of contact for our organization. Your responsibilities will involve providing administrative support across various departments. Welcoming guests and visitors with a warm reception and directing them to the appropriate personnel will be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will manage front-desk activities, which include handling incoming phone calls and distributing correspondence efficiently. You will be expected to greet and welcome guests promptly upon their arrival at the office. Directing visitors to the relevant individuals and offices will also fall under your purview. Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls will be a crucial aspect of your role. It is essential to maintain a tidy and presentable reception area with all necessary stationery and materials readily available, such as pens, forms, and brochures. Moreover, you will be responsible for providing basic and accurate information in-person and via phone or email. Managing daily mail and deliveries, ensuring office security procedures are followed, and controlling access through the reception desk will be part of your routine tasks. Ordering office supplies, maintaining stock inventory, and coordinating internal and external transportation for various events, activities, and guests are also included in your job responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should have prior experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or in a similar position. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, familiarity with office equipment like printers, and a professional demeanor are essential requirements. Strong written and verbal communication skills, resourcefulness, and a proactive approach to problem-solving will be valuable assets. Excellent organizational abilities, multitasking skills, and effective time management to prioritize tasks are key qualities needed for success in this position.
