BGS HIGH Bannerghatta is inviting applications for the position of French Teacher to teach students from Grade 1 to Grade 8 under the Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme (CLSP). The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering interactive, student-centered French lessons that align with the Cambridge curriculum. We are looking for someone who can create a stimulating environment that supports both language development and cultural appreciation.

Responsibilities

Teach French language skills: speaking, reading, writing, and listening.
Plan engaging lessons based on curriculum requirements.
Assess and track student progress through tests and activities.
Foster an interactive and respectful classroom environment.
Introduce students to French culture and traditions.
Stay updated with modern teaching methods and tools.

Qualifications

Minimum A2 level certification in French (DELF or equivalent).
Bachelors or Masters degree in any discipline (preferably with a focus on languages or education).
Prior experience teaching French at the primary or middle school level, especially in international or Cambridge curriculum schools, is an advantage.
Strong communication skills in both French and English.
A passion for teaching and the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
