French Facilitator (MYP/DP)- International Baccalaureate

As a French Facilitator (MYP/DP) at Apeejay School International in South Delhi, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering assessments that are aligned with the MYP assessment criteria and DP subject guides. Your responsibility will include supporting students through the MYP and DP Internal Assessments, ensuring authenticity and academic integrity in assessments such as Individual Speaking/Oral Assessment. You will maintain comprehensive records, contribute to formal reporting cycles, Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs), and student progress reviews. To cater to the diverse needs of students, you will implement differentiated instruction tailored to different language proficiencies, learning profiles, and support requirements. Your role will also involve providing academic scaffolding for emergent language learners and extension opportunities for advanced students. Staying updated with developments in language acquisition and IB pedagogy through workshops, conferences, and My IB resources will be essential. Active participation in subject group meetings and contributing to the school's learning culture is expected from you. Preferred qualifications include the completion of IB-recognized Category 1/2 workshops in MYP Language Acquisition and/or DP Language B. Upholding IB and school policies related to academic integrity, inclusion, assessment, and teaching practices will be a key aspect of your role. You will also ensure proper documentation for students requiring inclusive access arrangements and assist with CAS, TOK, or SAA supervision as needed. To be eligible for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in French Language, Hispanic Studies, or a related field, or possess an equivalent Diploma at B2 or C1 level. A minimum of 3-4 years of IB teaching experience in MYP Language Acquisition and/or DP Language B is required.
